Longxing Temple |

Longxing Temple It lies in the urban area. It was first built in A.D. 586. It was originally named "Longcang Temple"
(Temple of Dragon's Shelter). In the beginning years of the Song Dynasty, it was renamed "Longxing Temple"(Temple of Dragon's Prosperity) and in the 48th year of the reign of the Qing Emperor Kangxi (A.D. 1709), it was rebuilt and given the present name, "Longxing Temple"(Temple of Prosperity). It is a key cultural relic under state protection and one of the ten famous extant Buddhist temples. It covers an area of about 60,000 square meters. | ||||
